never eat alone

i hate that book with the title of "never eat alone",
because i was fine with being alone,
and eating alone,
until that book come in the way,
that seems to make being alone to be the biggest misery in life,
not to mention in one of the series of friends,
the guy who had a crush on rachel,
suddenly doesn't want to date her because she eats alone.
why is it that being alone be protrayed as a curse?
why?
but i guess the bigger question is why am i believing this myth?
there is nothing wrong with being alone, i have supposed so..
and i should continue believing that.
