Eugene Delacroix

great admiration i bestow upon eugene delacroix,
for his painting of Liberty in the Bastilles,
though i share none but a birth to him,
i capture the light and darkness of his thought.

true devotion i present to delacroix,
on the truth he has spoken on the power of executive,
and the beauty he encompasses in his poet.

my jealousy is only for delacroix,
for i dare not share my view of him to those not appreciating,
and i delight his humble attractiveness,
for that is the sole reason of his current fame,
fulfilling my egoistic self,
of not sharing him with anyone else.
